Dad has a 26in walmart bike. Had it since 2018. It was on sale. 99 bucks. Still drives and still fully functional. Just had to replace F/R tires on it and thats all.

My 24in I had since 2019. Tires are still good. Rides smooth. Dads 26in has some squeaks here and there but its fine.

Both are mongoose

I have a old Diamondback full suspension bike I bought at a pawn shop and rebuilt it.
If I lived anywhere close, I'd give it to you.
Diamondback isn't high quality by any means but decent for a beginner MTer.

That's strange. Has DB quality gotten that bad? Back in the day, DB was top of the line stuff next to Haro and a couple others. My DB that I built from paper route money was the envy of the other kids in my neighborhood.
