On my way to work, stopped by Costco and ordered my new hearing aids, brought cash to pay for them... but they don't take cash. Guess they prefer paying the 4% credit card fee. Ok, fine.

What the heck kind of business does not accept U.S. currency in the U. S. ? DID YOU ASK IF THEY WOULD PREFER CHICKENS OR GOATS? Sorry, just seems like things keep getting dumber.

Yeah, I'm thinking maybe it was just the hearing aid center that doesn't take cash... can't imagine the main store is the same... but I've never really asked.

Installed a new engine ecu in a Scania only to find out I needed to unlock the old ecu first. So I reinstalled the old one, unlocked it, removed it again, reinstalled the new one again and locked it. I hate re-doing work. But first I had to organise for the Scania SDP3 software to be updated on the laptop because everyone else had ignored the expiry warnings. All while I had a bad f-ing headache.

It's all done now and works as it should. Correct diagnosis. Thank Fck.

My ski area doesn't accept cash anymore. More corporate ops are going cashless. Banks are failing. Booooo

Effing Costco. I love to hate it. Pretty sure we, me and the fam, will slowly phase it out. Cuz it just sucks. The employees are always nice, If you can find one. Just too many people, too many shopping carts, and nothing is ever in the same place or in stock. Which reminds me....why do I go there?

You should get a quote from an implant specialist instead of an oral surgeon. I got quoted about half that for complete implants. Granted, that was a few years back but I don't think it's changed much since the post covid price hike.
