This was in my rustler. Took the one out of my slash and put it in my rustler and upgraded to the 272R in my slash. I got a extra diff and idler gear now. But threw away that burnt case. Had to get rid of the bearings and input shaft (and gear) because it was siezed in to the case.

slipper too loose or too tight. Not set properly. Happened to me with the stock case. Burned right through.
